Our Annual Rally against Domestic Violence

October is the National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and every year, Touch Link commemorates this with a month-long program of both virtual and in-person events.

We rally to be a voice for the victims and survivors of abuse in our community, to remind them that they're not alone, and to spread awareness to the community of the dangers and prevalence of domestic violence.

Virtual Opening Rally

Join us, on Saturday, October 5th at 10AM EDT, as we kickoff a special month for our organization! You'll hear more about what we do, you'll hear from our speakers joining us throughout the month, and you'll hear about how you can make an impact from the comfort of your home.

Diverse Topics & Speakers

On October 12th at 10AM EDT, you'll hear Faith Oluwadare's story of how she survived domestic violence (DV) and stepped into her purpose.

On October 17th at 9PM EDT, Pearl Kanu will teach us how to reignite the fire within, even after life's setbacks and storms.

On October 19th at 10AM EDT, you'll hear from Lois Kahagi (an attorney) and Vimmi Surti (a legal advocate), both of whom have experience in helping survivors of domestic violence secure legal protections for themselves and their children.

Lastly, on October 24th at 9PM EDT, you'll hear from Nicole Sutton, a Public Health professional and DV survivor, on the intersections of these two issues.
